Yes, from what I read, it will be 3 or 4 years before anyone is really using the spectrum just auctioned. With all the hype that the auction garnered I am sure many people think that some high speed open access national wireless broadband system was going to be the quick result.

That is probably still better than the AWS auction. At least we know the drop dead date for vacating 700MHz is February 17, 2009. With AWS it is still anybodies guess.
