I have an netopia 3347NWG and on the "System Status" page there is a section that shows: - Loss of Signal - Loss of Frame - CRC Errors
Does anybody knows how to reset those counters ? |

Thanks,

Any other suggestion ? |

| No. You are seeing current information. All of the Statistics items are reset on a "Restart" of the MODEM.
Any values displayed are new and this would indicate that you are seeing x number of "Loss of Signal" events on your current DSL session. Every statistic value on this page is only valid for your current DSL session. The statistic data is not retained across a "Restart" command.
How many "Loss of Signal" events do you have?
You should see information in the log indicating problems making the initial connection that support these statistics. A few errors during the initial connection are not cause for concern. If you are seeing the numbers grow quickly if you have the connection up for more than 1 hr, post all of the values and we can see if you have a line problem.
Thanks,
Dave |

I am seeing 346 upstream loss of signal and that count seems to be preserved even after a restart. I will try a power cycle to see if that reset it.
I am also using 7.7.0 (build r2). |

@qwest.net | reply to tranle Speaking of resetting the 3347.. How do I reset the DHCP server lease table? (to clear out all the leases).
Also, I had changed the DHCP lease time to 10 hours. I forget what the default time was. Anyone know? |

Telnet into the modem. You can use Hyperterminal to do this. Below is a cut and paste of reseting the DHCP server.
After you log in just type "reset dhcp server" and hit the enter key. Then type "exit" and hit the enter key again. You are done. ***********************************************
