Get a real PDA phone with a real OS and a real API.
Of course, because the iPhone is not a real phone, doesn't have a real OS or real API's. Guess all that stuff is fake.
Why exactly do they want you to pay hundreds of dollars for something and then not let you do whatever you want with it.. What does it hurt them to let you do what you want with it??
