Re: I can hear my DSL on the phone... I had the same problem and I never knew dsl modems actually sounded like old dialup modems trying to connect.
I forgot how the tech could detect the problem with their tools. I already had a second phone line going into my room, that wasn't in use, so the tech went outside and set that line for dsl. I believe he installed an outside line filter, only voice goes to the normal line and dsl+voice goes to the one in my room. He made it the same phone line.
Have you tried rebooting the modem with the phone on? I pushed any digit on the phone to get rid of the dialtone so you could hear the dsl modem better. |
