Because we will be different.
For example,
We will give real world reviews and tips
Not just some review like " it works well but it can be better"

We will have a real setup like most people have and if there is a piece of hardware that works well, we will explain how and why it is and if it needs some teaks we will also explain how to do it.

There will be a ton of more things to it but I won't want to give all my ideas away!

You think there arent hundreds of sites that do this? You think they set out to "be the same"?

Ive done large scale editing before, and have done it for quite some time. If you gave me some kind of incentive or real plan, Id help you out, but basically it sounds like Id be wasting my time with nothing to show for it at the end. Also, if your 'restart your computer' site shows your capability for Web design, you need to crack open that Dummies book again.

So what's the incentive for us to sign up? How do we know we'll see something on our investment? Why should we go with your site over another?

And the "we're gonna be different" approach doesnt work without an actual valid explanation.

What do you really have to lose? 2-3 hours of your time for a month? See how it is going after a month? and if you don't like it leave or you like it stick it out and once everything goes as well as i hope then you get paid!

I have big plans for this site... I have a couple major investors . 1 investor is my brother

Follow your dream, man! Sites like Tom's Hardware, Anandtech, Slashdot all started with a few people and a big idea to be a great tech site.

I can already detect a certain smugness and high expectations. First, Joomla? Hardly a top-tier tool. Second you want to use Rubicon, don't middleman your profits, all they want to do is take a chunk out of your revenue and use their cool little marketing tactics to pull in users.

Also I hope your brother there can drop a good amount of money as Computer products are not cheap.

If you have these so-called "major investors", then I hope you at least have some sort of business plan. All I've seen from your sites is either canned forum software, or in the case of restartyourcomputer.net, Web design skills that I surpassed when I tossed up my first GeoCities page in 1996. Show me a fully outlined business plan, including projections on how you actually plan on making this thing successful and not some knockoff wannabe clone of 50,000 other sites doing the same exact thing, and I'll consider it.

Before recruiting folks to help you really need a business plan that includes how you will compensate individual contributors to the site. I've worked in Silicon Valley for over 20 years and in that time have freelanced for a lot of startups. They all had concrete plans for how people would get compensated in cash, deferred cash,or stock (or combinations thereof). You really need to step up the professionalism when dealing with potential investors and individual contributors.
