Re: [Help] Photo print pricing query You're asking a question that really doesn't have a definitive answer. Prints that size can range in price from a few dollars to many hundreds of dollars. I guess it all boils down to a combination of what you think it's worth and what the market will bear. That said, I've sold 16x24 prints between $42-$60, depending on the paper. That's without matting.
If you're like Brooks Jensen, he sells all of his images (8x10" printed on 11x14" paper) for $20 plus shipping. That includes the image being "printed on heavy weight Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 310gms/m2 archival paper" and "shipped in an archival crystal clear sleeve with archival backing board". He says, "Twenty dollars was good enough for Edward Weston; it is more than enough for the rest of us even including inflation." -- Blog | - - - | Hunt's Treasure |
