Indeed, I think those of us who lived through, and to some extent were defined by, the Vietnam war view this war somewhat differently from younger ones, and probably differently from those older who lived through WWII, called by some "the last 'good' war" (if you really believe there can be such a thing).
But what doesn't change is the human tragedy of war, which photography has the power to bring home like nothing else.
