| Need Assisstance with IDSL
Hey all,
I live in a very rural area of Mississippi with no access to any highspeed internet but satellite, which I tried and canceled before the 30 day trial was up (2K ping was killing me, not to mention the FAP).
I am sorely missing my internet and gaming, since I am a huge WoW nerd.
I heard about ISDN/IDSL and thought it might be a good option for me.
I was wondering if anyone had any information on IDSL, such as how much it costs, how to get it, who provides it, can it reach me way out in the sticks, etc. I will be using it for web browsing, online gaming (WoW, Xboxlive if possible), and small downloads. It will be on a single computer in my house, so no routing necessary.
I am really desperate for some online gaming, yall, so any help would be MAJORLY appreciated. |

More thank likely have to get hold of the business side instead of residential.
Call some local ISP's and see if they offer ISDN/ISDL packages. See if they can help you get pointed in the right direction.

clubs: | I used Qwest IDSL about five years ago. Install was around 500 Dollars and monthly was 115. I'm sure prices have come down sine then =). |

Osyka, MS | Well, I have contacted all the local ISP's and no one offers IDSL, and AT&T is only going to allow 200 hours (single channel) of use with ISDN. Everything after that is billed by the minute.
I am desperate for some internet : ( |

Prior to DSL I had IDSL through ISOMEDIA.COM
give them a try... |
