 Ed Pierce seminars?

A friend passed along a flyer for Ed Pierce photography seminars. Anyone heard of them? It's just a quick four-hour event, so I don't have any illusions that it would be as good as taking a real photography class or workshop. It's only $19 with a promotion code, so I figure that even if I don't learn a thing, it's only a few bucks and a few hours that I'm out.
