There are only so many "dead dinosaurs" that can be pumped out of the earth to burn  No argument there! I am only speaking of the here and now. If it was cheaper to build 'em locally? Why then they would. In today's global economy, labor costs, and local business regulations (taxes, pollution standards, etc.) still hold more sway that cost of transportation...perhpas it will change down the road...but not today.
