| [Vista] windows explorer fails to respond after chkdsk /f I keep noticing windows explorer freezes up for about 30 seconds after running check disk.
I tried on XP and it doesn't happen.
Anyone know how to fix?

kudos:13 | any more clues in eventviewer logs? why is chkdsk run and does it come up with errors found/fixed?

No it says everything is fine, maybe a few unused indexes. |
