any more clues in eventviewer logs? why is chkdsk run and does it come up with errors found/fixed?

Hope, BC		 I keep noticing windows explorer freezes up for about 30 seconds after running check disk.
I tried on XP and it doesn't happen.

Anyone know how to fix?
