With the only exception of install timeframe guarantees, SLAs are worthless. Most SLAs don't cover the loop which is where almost all the troubles occur anyway. Regardless, you have to document the time and date of trouble (no, SLA reimbursements are not automatic), then you apply for the credit prior to the deadline, then you wait a few months for a credit of a couple bucks to appear on your invoice statement. The one that I would probably personally recommend is $399 and includes router with free install on a one year term. 2 Yr Term drops price to $388 and 3 yr term drops to $368.

However, I also have a *true* Tier 1 provider available for $351 with router for a 2 yr term or 3 yr term.
