Hard to keep spending money rolling out those Docsis 3 upgrades when FIOS cuts into their subscriber base.

kudos:5 | In the retail sector, when a company's average-store-sales are declining, it is seldom wise for that company to open more stores. While its overall revenue will bump up (due to the new units), it does nothing to solve the problem of customers spending less and less in each store.
