http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r20168377 en Wed, 20 Aug 2008 19:52:10 EDT Wed, 20 Aug 2008 19:52:10 EDT http://www.dslreports.com/forum/remark,20168377 figgis41 : hi all ,,, im haveing a problem with my BB,,, it keeps dropping out and the signal is not a constant one,,, if i do a speed test it comes back differant every time,,, when im downloading the rate goes up and down all the time aswell,,,my isp is Karoo in Hull & i have a package called karoo max option 3,,, on my router it says connection speed 5760kbps down & 488kbps up ,,, i have never had over 5 meg speeds with this its usally around 4-4.5,,, i have noticed lately that the noise margen has been going down,,, it usally hovers around 12-13db,, but has been dropping down to 6-3-0 and my router looses connection,,, i understand the lower it is the worse connection,,, i have looked on a site called kitz.com and mesured my distance to my isp exchange which is about two and a half kilometers away by cable, about 1 kl as the crow flys.i rang my isp about this up & bown signal and they sed it was ok. everything is filterd and i have a seporate socet put in for my BB.
