Yeah, I know the headers can be forged, but they all enther the charter network from someplace and that place on the 4 have been 10.20.200.XXX, can I assume this is correct? |
 | reply to partoflife Okay, that didn't work. I tried putting Charter.net in my block senders/networks and for some reason Charter puts my email address (xxxxxx@charter.net) into the allow email sender/network, thereby bypassing the block I tried to enable. What possible reason would I send an email to myself? This is too weird.
Is Charter trying to make sure I receive unsolicited emails? |
 | reply to partoflife You know what really makes me not trust Charter. I do some stock quotes using the MSN quote. Not long thereafter, I get spam telling me of some up and coming penny stock. I know what the deal is. The person gets some fish on the line and when the stock goes up, they bleed the stock. Yeah, I monitored the progression of the stock.
Yeah, I didn't invest, but I see somebody did. Coincidence? Possibly. Not much less of a coincidence when I am used bittorrent to download music and movies. I can sense the throttling of my connection. A popup window came up with some rancid porno. No biggie, I know the person is still watching and I have a strong stomach. I played the 4 listed and just to rub it in, went back to the best one 2 other times.
Anyway, the next day, I get an email with a variation of my name from Charter.com stating, "I am one sick individual....etc... etc...." And from then on, I have been getting these stupid emails which have been increasing since I have been complaining here about them.
Coincidence, sure, if you say so. |
