My 3/8 Irish started celebrating the first Saturday in March at the Old Town Alexandria St. Patrick's Day parade
I survived my venture into the District tonight. The line at Fado was around the block. Hung out next door at RFD instead and enjoyed a few Black & Tans in honor of a friend's recent engagement.
I must say the semi-recent popularity of Smithwick's is a marked improvement on the old Guinness and Bass Ale combo I'd grown accustomed to.
