Who here will be negaively affected if the telecoms have to pay out millions of dollars?
Answer:Everybody
Where do you think those millions of dollars are going to come from? This is just going to result in higher prices to the consumer. Also who gets the money from the lawsuit? I can guarantee you that it definitely won't go to the people that were wiretapped.
All you people saying we need to teach these companies a lesson, we'll get them for violating our rights, blah, blah, blah are shooting yourselves in the foot. Its bad enough prices will increase as a result of higher gas prices, this will just make it worse. |
