I have one similar to this one, but it is 2.4 ghz and about 3 years old. The phones look the same except my keypad is white buttons backlit with orange and my base station has less buttons, basically it has the voicemail and phone locator buttons but not the numbers. I'm very happy about these phones. I have the base station, my wireless router, and wireless mouse all running at 2.4 ghz and all within 2 feet of each other, and no interference! Basically don't worry about frequency, just buy the phones that feel the best. The color LCD probably makes it harder to use. Some things like basic cordless phones and microwaves are easier to see and use with high contrast monochrome. |
