Vchat20 : Thanks. Yeah, thats what I was kinda figuring on the account management channel. As for the caller id, unfortunately I can't find any way to set that. I seem to remember there possibly being an option for this on passport's 'app', but it's all integrated in mystro as far as I can tell. The caller id settings are part of the whole main settings screen which handles box functions like parental controls, audio settings, etc.. The only caller id related options there are turning it off or on and a recent calls list. If I hit the settings button again, the whole screen closes out. Nothing else responds to brining up any more details.
--
I swear, some people should have pace-makers installed to free up the resources.
Vchat20 : We actualy just got Mystro pushed to our SA8000 box earlier this morning here in Warren/NEO and I have to put out my own review here.

Compared to most of the horrid ratings I have read from other TW customers, I do feel that either they had expected way too much out of these underpowered boxes or Time Warner actually has been doing a good job of optimizing the software.

Speed-wise, Mystro is just a slight bit on the slow side, but it is by no means sluggish. Even passport around the time they added on the Caller ID app became a bit on the sluggish side on a lot of functions. The only thing in mystro that is real annoying is initially putting up the guide and it takes it a few moments to respond to commands till the tv feed is resized to the top corner and the text fills the guide screen. Once that's done though, it's right up there with passport on speed.

I also feel that Mystro makes things feel a little more fluid all around rather than everything feeling like it was bodged together and reprogrammed for the MSO (ala passport). This was mostly noticable with the OD channels and PPV purchase/info screens. Mystro has it all synchronized not only in the GUI design, but functionality as well (OD entries accessible and searchable off the guide and access menu. MAJOR plus in my book.).

And overall the design just looks more modern in my mind than passport. I'm currently running this on my 42" 720p Panasonic 42px80u plasma via 480i S-Video and I am still impressed with how the software looks. I'm anxious to see how the software is handled on the HD boxes (whether they have their own software with the GUI bits built for HD resolutions or they are just resized on the fly from the lower resolution up to 720p/1080i/1080p).

My brother whom lives in columbus has an SA8300HD box through WOW and they run some sort of in-house OCAP software themselves (Not passport nor SARA that I could tell) and in comparison to Mystro, THAT is painful. The sluggishness of all the menus are mind-boggling to say the least. (I'm going down this weekend. I will attempt to get some pictures to compare and hopefully someone can correct me on exactly what they are running.)

The ONLY major cons I have right now (and they are probably tweaks planned at this point) are the account management/payment channel is currently missing (PLEASE do not kill it off, it's a godsend to say the least) and the updated CID app only sticks around for 1-1/2 to 2 rings it seems. On passport it stuck around for at least 4 rings or more (answering machine is set to answer at 4, it stayed on screen past that.)
--
I swear, some people should have pace-makers installed to free up the resources. You have to press the TVguide button and the "c", and it shows you when that show is gonna be played again, but with Mystro, we have to press "b" TWICE and then TYPE IN the show name to look for the next available shows :( .
I wish TWC could add "C' button to theTV guide, that way we would have that option that Passport echo has!
