Re: Strange/wonderful speed issue

Does your speed actually increase? I'm guessing that it doesn't, the speedtest might just be calculating an incorrect number.

Try downloading a file from microsoft.com when the speedtest claims you're getting 6000Kbps+. Based on your normal speedtest speeds, you're probably on a 4Mbps profile, and your download speed should probably be around 437KB/sec.
Well, from Microsoft the max download is 749kB/s, or the equivalent of 6000 kbps.
My normal max is ~350kB/s - 440kB/s

Also, how do I chack my line stats?

Thank you so much!

Buddy, you're lucky! Bell upgraded your profile by *mistake*.

I hope you won't have a line problem anytime soon or Bell will downgrade you to the normal profile when they'll try to rectify it.
