You're right. You might have a subnet conflict. Try setting the WGR614's LAN IP to 192.168.X.1 where X is not = 1.

| I have a westell 6100 dsl modem and a WGR614v9 netgear router.
Everything works fine, all 3 computers. My question is why do I see a private Ip address of 192.168.1.47 listed as my internet Public IP address 70.xxx.xxx.xx. My default gateway IP add. changed from 192.168.1.1 to 10.0.0.1 upon installation, poss. something to do with modem/router subnet conflict-I don't know. Anyways, if anyone knows why the router is displaying a private IP add. instead of my actual public IP add. Let me know.
