Last I checked they have done blueray and HD for awhile.

Hollywood DRM slapping people around kinda pisses em off.

So they become highly motivated...

Just remember , you still can't play a burned copy of a bluray movie in a stand alone bluray player. That pesky BD mark on the disc to distinguish a burnt copy from a pressed copy is still a nagging fact. However the convert to HD-DVD is a really slick feature ,that in my opinion might be a glimmer of hope for the folks still finishing off the run of HD-DVD players and burners.
