Still, assuming one does indulge, there are some fun things you could do to screw with them.
(1) Install a pre-printed card in front of the camera at the appropriate distance for it to read the legend 'What are YOU looking at?'
(2) Tape a plastic fly over the lens.
(3) Apply the Handyman's Secret Weapon liberally over the lens.
There's multiple reasons we've stuck with DirecTV. This is only one of them.
