Actually cable has gotten the Telco's off their @$$es. If it wasn't for the deployment of HFC networks in the late 80' and early 90's, you wouldn't see FiOS deployment today. | |

3 edits | Wrong. Telcos were soundly beating cable in new ads with their $15-$20 DSL offering despite slower speeds. And xDSL was a natural evolution that would have happened with or without cable. | |
