Here we go again.

Yet another case of, "we are doing something about it" crap from a politician. We have protected you, we have passed a law to make it illegal, so now we have war riders shaking in their boots......NOT! They would have been better off hiring a group of people to do the job. Perhaps computer science students from Universities, or Jr Colleges. This group would announce in advance they are going to ride around a neighborhood and offer to secure any unsecured wireless networks they find free of charge.

Sounds like a good idea on paper. But I'm not sure many would trust college students with access to their computers and their routers. Especially if they were wearing white shirts and thin black ties driving around in matching VW Beetles.
