Think of the positive potential though.

Right now, Nielsens monitor only a couple of thousand people to get some "feedbadck" on who watches what. With this camera thing, Comcast will be able to sell the information to Nielsen and Nielsen will have a far greater input to monitor who watches what.

Now, this puts power into the people.

Once you're setup a fake video signal into the box:

-Feed "baby" images while porn is on.
-Feed "adult" images while cartoons are on.
-Feed "young teenage girl" image while all the crime/violent shows are on.
-Feed "young teenage male" image while some girly "how to knit/cook" programs are on.

In other words, with enough people doing this, you could totally squew the Nielsen statistics and completely change the type of advertising shown on TV. Porn shows would have diaper and Gerber baby food ads, and cartoons would have viagra and tambon/yeast infection ads
