Dogfather : Meanwhile people keep complaining that FiOS competition hasn't brought down prices. There is more to competition than price and Verizon has gotten a number of cable operators off their fat asses, namely CableVision, Comcrap, Cox and Time Warner who are directly responding to FiOS competition by ramping up speeds. Time Warner raised speeds here to 15/2 shortly after FiOS was deployed, and they didn't do it 'cause they're nice guys.
