Connecticut Legacy System TiVO Guide ProblemIt appears as if there was a miscommunication with the company that handles the guide data for TiVO converters in our legacy system.
They were notified that the rebuild was complete in Waterford, and they took it as "rebuild is complete everywhere". This means that the legacy lineup was removed from the Zap2It website, as well as from TiVO set tops. I have contacted the company, and corrected this, however it will take between 2 and 4 days for TiVO to retrieve the corrected dataset.
This means, that all TiVOs in our system think they are on rebuild lineup, and many channels will either not work, or have incorrect guide data. Once TiVO retrieves the corrected dataset (again in 2-4 days), customers in the Legacy system will have to repeat the Guided Setup on their set tops, to retrieve the correct guide information.
Unfortunately, due to the way this data is propagated, there is no interim solution to work around this problem. |

Just to clarify, you're talking specifically about Tivo DVR's right? This doesn't affect the DVR I got from Metrocast, right? |

Correct, Tivo Only, your Motorola or Pace DVR is not affected. |

ReplayTV channel data was FUBAR this morning, too . Could you guys make sure they also get the word about the bad data? Thanks! |

Replay TV must get their data from the same location... this should be fixed for everyone soon, but I do not know what the data schedule is for Replay, it may be sooner or longer then the TiVO update schedule.. |

Unfortunately, the company that handles the TiVO (and ReplayTV) guide, have made the problem much worse then it was. We are working with them diligently to straighten everything out. Unfortunately, we will not have this corrected until at least next week. |
