Then go over it with a roller to even it out and roll the sealer into the wood, somewhat.
--
If it's true that we learn from our mistakes, MENSA should honor me with their highest award!

Rojo_P posted : Can't help but believe that thing is a gimmick.
And your mind is probably made up about going "quick and easy", but one should really brush in fence stain no matter how you get it on the fence initially. It's a "pay me now or pay me later" deal.

FYI, when I stained my 500' fence I bought a Wagner sprayer for the job and hated it. A total mess and did not cover worth a damn. At the time I was told by several people I respect that to do a fence fast and reasonably well I should buy or rent an air compressor and gun.

Ken posted : You use a garden hose to apply it like a weed killer? I would be pretty apprehensive about applying something like that. When I stained my deck I bought a small pump sprayer like this.[att=1]

I was able to stain the deck really fast, with very little overspray. The garden hose method makes me think you are going to be putting a lot of the product on the ground. Possibly getting it all over plants and grass.
--
My Business website: MerrittConstruction.com | My Gaming Website: KensGaming.com
<TABLE WIDTH=95% align=center border=0 CELLPADDING=4">
