Let folks know how to get the BAS name and relevant info....

Apparently the 2-wire modems show you this information, but I'm unable to find anything in my ST516. If anyone has an easy and generic way of finding out their BAS let us know.

The main idea here is to get an idea of how many people are affected, and whereabouts it's happening.

Hopefully it'll be more simple than that. I'm in bridge mode thus unable to log into it (nor am I interested in fiddling with it either - sure other feel the same way)

I'm sure there's a better and easier way... a website maybe?

I've been fiddling with the ping and tracert command. Found my ERX, no BAS though.

I discovered one can pull the BAS info from their ST516, but it has to be in routed PPP mode, and not bridge. A quick temporary reconfig allowed me to pull out the info. I then returned the unit to bridge mode. This is what I did:

»192.168.1.254
click Broadband Connection
click Internet Services
click Details

I am on "bas15-toronto12" and NOT throttled, but just recently moved from Sympatico which was throttled.
