| I live in SC and that number is wrong First off in many counties in SC most people simply cannot or will not pay for broadband. I worked with a guy when I was younger who shared a phone with a neighbor. They're whole neighborhood was shacks.
That stat is other BS. I live in a rich county and 94% doesn't apply to us. |

 | Wow is that a total crock. There are too many places just here in Spartanburg County that do not have broadband available. Greenville county I can think off the top of my head the Hwy 101 north end of the county is dial up only. |

| Good question. I assume it was for money reasons but there is a chance your right. I can tell you I was unable to get high speed till 2000. Last year or maybe the year before my 1 meg download was upgraded to a 3 meg download. That was the top tier till 2 months ago when I received a letter saying they were adding higher teirs if it's avaible in your neighborhood. |

Re: Wish it was 94% Agreed. In Spartanburg as well. Can't get anything. DSL box down the road. No dice. Charter ended the cable line a baseball throw away from my house. Right at the golf course. Imagine that. And before I hear the rural area stuff, I have a school, supermarket a half a mile away from my house. But yes I realize it's not New York City. |
