 | [Vista] Vista SP1 - how to tell? Dumb question, but I'm on my Dad's new HP computer with Vista Premium, when I look at System Properties, it says "Vista Home Premium", but doesn't say "SP1" after it.
Should it say SP1 there if it has it, or does it show up somewhere else in Vista?
Thanks. |

| reply to TherapyChick A couple places you'll see Service Pack 1:
Start-->Run, type winver and press ENTER.

From a shell (Start-->Run, type cmd and press ENTER) type systeminfo.

 | Thanks, didn't see it the first place I looked, or the other places you all mentioned either, but wanted to make sure.
Looks like it's download time.
I had initially guessed that this PC would come with SP1 because I know SP1 was released RTM earlier, but I guess not in this case.
No biggie, will just go get it.
Thanks again. |
