I was thinking of that, but I don't think my son is going to be so willing to try it again.. I would prefer if it was portforwarding rather than this way. At least not unless I start to have problems with my conn or something with it set up like this.. All I know is that I got a whopper of a headache now with him doing all this stuff and me waiting to see if it will continue to work ok... I can't remember which modem I had before the 2200's...I know there was something between the 56k days which was long ago and the 2200's. My son doesn't live here, so it's a matter of getting him to come again to work on my puter which seems to be a weekly chore for one thing or another... |

  Bytebender Bytebender Premium join:2008-02-12 Canada | The DMZ is basically the same as having no router, so you should have anti-virus and anti-spy software as well, especially with Windows, but as long as you do, you should be fine. |
