<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/197199"><b>Doctor Four</b></A> : I had the same issue as well.<br><br>I was going to uninstall it and replace it with Quicktime<br>Alternative 2.40, because of the recent foisting of Safari<br>on Windows users through the Apple Software Update popup,<br>but when I went to remove it in Add/Remove Programs, not<br>only was it still there, but it put QTTask back in Startup.<br><br>After exiting it and then removing it using MSConfig,<br>I had to manually remove Quicktime and its folder, then use<br>CCleaner and a few registry cleaners to get rid of the 478<br>entries in the Registry it left behind.<br><br>In short, the uninstaller appears to be broken.<br><small>--<br>"The trouble with computers, of course, is that they are very sophisticated idiots." - Doctor Who (from Robot)<br></small>]]></description>
