[DSL] speestream 6520 for $75 (CDN) - worth it?

Hello! I have just finished service with my provider (Bell canada) and they want to take my rented modem back, but will let me keep it for $75... I need a modem with at least 3 network ports but the ones I have found online look more expensive than $75! Is this a good deal?

Thanks in advance for the advice!

Get the 2Wire 2700HG-B Modem (refurbished) from Caneris, 4 ports, wireless.

Caneris is an ISP so the modems are tested.

I always found the wireless on the 6520 to be marginal. That's why I chose to get a SS516 modem ($50 online) and a Linksys WRT54G ($49 online) in lieu of the 6520. It's a bit more than the $75, but far superior in routing and wireless capabilities, plus you could upgrade one component later without affecting the other.

Thanks! I just have to make sure that I can return this Bell modem on time and I will order that one - it looks like it will suit my needs just fine.

Thanks again!
