4 edits | How Amusing... Tell those parents/people that keep pushing their kids outside that they are complete morons for believing that Wi-Fi causes radiation/cancer. Every single electronic out there pretty much gives off some form of radiation. Computer monitors, Microwaves, Cell Phones, Cordless phones, Routers, Radio Stations, Sun, TV stations, satellites, TVs, smoke alarms (have radioactive materials in them, but that's a bit different story), etc. I've had a router for 3 years along with DSL and I don't see myself getting sick. Back before I got high speed internet here I used to get sick once a month because I was outside (facing sun burns as well ). Also, my router sits right next to my gaming computer, which I'm on literally 24/7 and I'm only a foot away from it, and the thing has high gain antennas with 3 radios in it. BS!
Also, you wanna know what really causes cancer? Natural deformities in cells AND cheapo sun screen. | | ureihcimFreshly made join:2007-12-16 Miami, FL | Just to let everyone know, that Ultra violet radiation actually kills bacteria, protozoa, viruses, molds, yeasts, nematode eggs and algae. It's also used to purify the water you drink.
The only type of radiation that can hurt/kill you is actually very high powered meaning it's operating in the high KW range.
None of your devices or any other consumer or business device reaches these levels, and if they do even at high radiation levels the safety distance around that equipment is small as 100ft and most of the time will either be around a guarded fence and displaying a little radiation symbol for your safety and those who work on it.
You will never encounter or work with such a high powered antenna unless you work in the business or if you are in the military. Even to install a dish, a professional installer comes and does it for you and he is perfectly safe.
You are safe, and don't diagnose something you don't even know. More than likely that migraine you had all week is not because of radiation but because your a moron and are not drinking enough water to stay hydrated which is causing your migraine. Even if you feel hydrated you are more than likely not.
I am also now in California, and with the heat and the high altitude, I need to drink more water than normal. So instead of going and drinking that soda or that monster, which does more damage to your freaking heart than the radiation a wifi signal is making quit your BS and welcome to reality. | | alphapointeDon't Touch MePremium,MVM join:2002-02-10 Columbia, MO kudos:2 | Not to be mean, but I think you responded to the wrong post. | | ureihcimFreshly made join:2007-12-16 Miami, FL | Should of been a thread post, oh well I blame it on radiation | |
