Tomato firmware

If you have the right hardware version of the WRT54g, you can try out Polarcloud's Tomato firmware, which has excellent QoS mechanisms that actually work.

Make sure you check to see if your router is a supported hardware revision, since Linksys moved to VxWorks powered units which are not compatible with this firmware.
