AMD is in deep trouble. They've had nothing but problems and trouble with making competitive CPU's, performance wise Intel has them, and they keep missing deadlines and having to delay, delay, delay, all the while losing money hand over fist and having to keep seeking help with their debt. I want them to stay in the market, but they really are in bad shape at the moment. I don't see why they'd merge with Nvidia, tho. That would be a bad deal for Nvidia. Maybe IBM will buy AMD up (cheap)....
Why do people forget they make more than just CPUs. They makes tons of items like Intel does.

Ok look it up. AMD's products are all semi-conductors and related, and most of them are actually made thru partners.
