yet people are willing pay $50-$100 a month for cell phone service but bitch when their POTS rate moves above the $30 a month range.

DSL doesn't cause brain cancer like WIMAX. Wimax also affects pacemakers, garage doors, and old TV remotes!

And a New study claims heavy mobile use causes cancer, I tried Googling the topic "WiMAX causes cancer" and and I found no such article, So could You provide the link to the Kryptonite , Err evidence?
