*bump*

Only two photos submitted so far.

If anyone encounters any problems uploading, post them here so I can fix it.

It didn't give me any error messages so I'm guessing the ones I've sent so far this morning went through.

I know I sent a photo in the other day myself.

Edit: Just to add, I didn't get an error message either.

I just tried to upload a photo and got this error

Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0113'

Script timed out

/shootingforacause/upload_photo.asp

The maximum amount of time for a script to execute was exceeded. You can change this limit by specifying a new value for the property Server.ScriptTimeout or by changing the value in the IIS administration tools.

I was uploading a 10 MB file. To big of file to upload ?

I got an error but tried again with a slightly smaller file and both seemed to go ok the second time.

How can you see all the uploads prior to submitting an image so as to have an idea what to submit that goes along with the other images?

What are the parameters for uploading? Size, etc? (Beyond that which is stated on the upload site.)

Sorry for taking so long to respond. Passover prep and other stuff got in the way. You should upload the largest quality photo that you have in JPG format.

As of right now, we have:

9 photos in Architecture
16 photos in Black and White
8 photos in Night Photography
4 photos in Unseen World

To make the calendars we (obviously) need at least 12 photos per category. I would like to have at least 16 so that we could have four "bonus" photos per category for the photobooks. This means that only one category has the bare minimum needed so far. And B&W only had 9 people contributing to it.

In fact, overall, only 18 people have submitted photos. We need a lot more photos from a lot more people or this project won't succeed!

I'm pretty sure we'll get more over time- but people shouldn't be dissuaded because it's still (relatively) early.

I didn't want to dissuade people. My goal was to motivate people to contribute more photos.

I'm nowhere near the best but I would like to submit a few. What do you consider "unseen world?"

Personally, I thought "Unseen World" would best describe macro photographs. Images of things that usually are not seen or are passed by unnoticed.

Ah, I had meant to inquire about that myself, but kept forgetting. Now that I think about it, I may have some macros I'd want to submit. Will have to start digging through the files on my home computer this evening.

Hey Jason,

I have a silly question for you,

When they ask for name, may I use my forum nick? LOL!

No, I am serious even though I sound dumb.

Cheers.
