I can't wait for the commercials on music-only channels now that the companies will have a strangle-hold on satellite radio. |

If they fill up the music channels with commercials then they'll be no different than terrestrial radio. People would dump them in droves and go back to regular radio. Why pay for it when you can get it for free? |

One of my favorite features is the zero-commercial music channels. If they start adding commercials, that's three subscriptions gone right there. I'm sure plenty others would follow suit. |

| reply to evilghost Mel K has mentioned the use of more commercials to make more money. Which is pretty sad really. Let the music channels be. They basically run themselves for the most part. I love the XM music channels. And Mel K needs to look at the big picture and stop wasting 500MM on Stern. |

Sorry couldn't resist. --

@optonline.net | reply to bnceo Wasting 500M on Stern? Sirius had 1M subs before Stern announced his deal. Now they have millions. How is that a waste? |

Yeah it seems the pundits here really can't use either. Then again neither can 3/4 of todays country. -- "It's always funny until someone gets hurt......and then it's absolutely friggin' hysterical!" |

He was getting it for free from his not so good looking wife, and yet he still chose to pay for the dandy candy. And he paid a dandy candy premium ! -- "It's always funny until someone gets hurt......and then it's absolutely friggin' hysterical!" |

| reply to SternFan ending 2007 subscriber base to more than 8.3 million subscribers. They are steam rolling XM in growth. Clear channels hold on XM will be gone. There won't be any commercial filled stations like XM has.
