Next time look at this IE setting: Tools | Internet Options | Advanced | Security | Do not save encrypted pages to disk and make sure it's set on.

Be aware though, that any card numbers will have to be re-entered each time you access your bank's site. Also make sure you check off 'Empty Temporary Internet Files on Browser Close' (underneath Do not save encrypted pages to disk), as well as limiting your browser cache to 1 MB.

I also use Clean Disk Security to scrub my cache and index.dat files after each secure session.

What about the default settings for Firefox? Will it save encrypted pages to my disk? I always clear my cache after each session however I do not use any clean disk security so I assume the cache can be found on my hard drive.

So while using Firefox on default security settings is it possible to find the information entered during SSL sessions on my hard drive? Thanks again.
