I thought a blunt, straight-to-the-point title would do, but I seem to not have my nose high enough in the air?? I can think of many other more politically correct ways to say, "I want to spy on people to protect the data of my company since we don't know how to hire honest people" but since I've come to feel at home here at DSLR, I thought that unnecessary.

Edit: Plus, I blatantly chose that title because I think is funny when someone asks me to "put antivirus and spyware" on their computer at home... However, I can't guess your specific environment, requirements, budget or IT capabilities. When you have a more specific set of requirements, post them and I may come up with other possibilities.

I've checked out Websense, and I'm familiar with SurfControl (a company they acquired). I'm looking for something a little bit more on the lower end. I'm not doing it for my own purposes, but by managers' request. I used to have quite the assortment of spy softwares, and even some that email logs and screenshots on a regular basis, etc, but I have lost all my favorites, and it looks like a lot of the spy software marketplace has gone excessively commercial.

Is there any particular piece of software any of you use or would recommend to spy on users' activity - programs run, web browsing (no, I don't have a proxy server set up here yet), etc. I do not need to see keystrokes, but if it comes with the package, that's fine.
