Sounds

like BELL Canada isn't much different from the Bells here in the U.S. ! Always trying to screwover the consumer. And Man! Those caps seem pretty small ! Only 50 Gigabytes! Why do all the Canadian ISP have all those caps and bandwidth limits?

Because the gov't/CRTC is too busy counting our tax dollars to fix this anti-competitive abusive collusion.

With bell you can be an elite member of the 30, 30, 30 club. Thirty gigabytes a month speed throttled to 30 kilobytes per second and pay 30 dollars per month for breaking the 30 gigabytes cap. Almost forgot new users or very soon there will be no cap of 30 dollars it'll be unlimited.

Anyone believe that the CRTC is there for the consumer - is completely out to lunch. It is an organization that is there to protect corporate interests that have connections to government. They dress it all up and sell it as helping Canadian culture, etc. How much culture is on television? It is all just business.... At least in the US the FCC sets down some rules to protect consumers (like requirement of firewire in cable boxes, or mandating open receivers that accept cablecable cards).
