pc tools,commodo free anti virus good?

Just wondering in case avg drops the free version.
or are these two better?
Already have free avast on one computer here.

Avast is fine (my choice). Why not use Avast if AVG should drop the free version (where did you hear that?) as you are already using it on one PC.

Its not so much having heard anything....it just seems that unless I missed it at their website...there isn't free verion of 8 whatever.
if there is I may have missed it.

AVG v7.5 is the latest free version, but that in no way means they are no longer supporting it or won't be updating it in the future. The pay versions may have been updated to v8.0 to add to or update the features that aren't available in the free version.

I wouldn't worry about it, I think you're covered.
