2 edits | I have the SB5101 and it was the replacement for my Toshiba PCX2200. I don't know if they have the SB5120 here or not. Also, I noticed the firmware is not the latest release available. Does anyone know if the new firmware will help any and how do I get Charter to push it to me as I've seen a lot of posts about having trouble getting the firmware push? |

Van Nuys, CA | the SB5101 is the better modem, from what i have read. it's also newer then the Sb5120. as far as a firmware update that has to be done through charter, not sure how you would get them to do that. |

The first avenue I believe would be to contact tech support explain you are having issues and would like help up grading your modems firmware to see if the upgrade would fix the issues. I would think they would could help you get the latest firmware. |
