| making a static ip on the p-660hw-t1 I live in Thailand and would like to port forward my router to increase p2p speeds, but I've had no luck making a static internal ip. I've already gone through numerous walk throughs online following every step, but it still just doesn't seem to work. I called my isp to get the preferred and alternate dns servers, plugged them into the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) properties, filled in the rest of the information as it was suggested, but I can't get any internet access after that.
My guess is that maybe I need to change something in the LAN setup, WAN setup, or NAT mode, but I have no idea what. There are three computers on our LAN, so any advice that you may have is greatly appreciated! |
