<description><![CDATA[Toadman posted : I never thought Armstrong charged for the modem  I pay $39.99 a month for Zoom 500 and that includes the modem.  I even called Armstrong and they told me that I had to use their modem, that I couldn't purchase one (and they were a little confused as to why I would want to buy one).
