DSLX is not making a huge profit on residential DSL service, and you want them to pour what litlte resource they have into a complimentary service, rather than pouring into their business customers who pay them a higher profit? Its great that DSLX takes care of this matter and tries to get a solution for something thats complimentary. I think a refund or similar is not appropriate.

It is something built into their system that they have to change for us. Though other large ISPs have asked for it we were able to get it pushed up on the development schedule. I talked with another tech support this morning, and he also had the same problem. So it is replicable. He asked me to wait until tomorrow night: 48 hours, since it is still being worked on. I told him the 24-48 hour period is for DNS propagation. This is an authentication problem.

I also noticed that the while updating ,that i was runngin at full speed and then suddenly for maybe 10-20 seconds the speed dropped to zero..then continued with max speed.
