You can't can you.<br><br>I'm just as annoyed as most guys in here who can't get their headers or use more than 3 accounts to download, but you won't find me playing the petty blame game or the "I'm considering jumping to another ISP" just because of this glitch.  For what value DSLX has given me over the years, I won't mind giving them guys the time to work it out.  I ain't about to jump ship and then ask myself if I made a mistake.  Nope, I did plenty of ship jumping 8-9 years ago, SBC, Cox, done them all.. until I settled on DSLX and finally found good valued ISP  (around southern CA).  You don't call it a divorce or even hint of one.. on a minor setback.]]></description>

It is something built into their system that they have to change for us.  Though other large ISPs have asked for it we were able to get it pushed up on the development schedule. If your news client is terminating the connection you may want to increase the timeout length so that it doesn't occur.  If the issue persists please submit a ticket with our support team by sending an email to support@dslextreme.com. I was first told (phone support person named Dominique) that the problem was probably at my end but since "nobody really accesses the Newsgroups anymore" he was unable to really help me.<br><br>Second person, via Live Chat, (forgot his name) told me to try a different Newsreader.  I told him I'd already tried both Xnews and Thunderbird.  He suggested I try NewsBin.  He also suggested I set my maximum concurrent connections to "1".  (huh?)  He then tried to close out the session by telling me that nobody else had submitted a complaint and that I must be the only one having a problem.  i.e. he was unable to help me either.<br><br>Gotta love it.<br><br>BTW, I've been a DSLExtreme customer since 2001.  No problems with Newsgroups until this week.]]></description>

He asked me to wait until tomorrow night: 48 hours, since it is still being worked on. I told him the 24-48 hour period is for DNS propagation.
